  days. The topics will cover many subfields of the fusion and budding dis
 ciplines\, including\, but not limited to\, fusion and budding at synapse
 s and neuroendocrine cells (exo- and endocytosis)\, in relation to the fu
 nction of membrane-bound organelles like mitochondria and extracellular v
 esicles\, and in the context of host/virus interactions\, cell-cell fusio
 n\, and autophagy. Approaches to study these processes range from organis
 ms and cellular systems to reconstituted systems and computational modeli
 ng of membrane fusion and budding.
