Airports
RIX Riga Airport is the international airport of Riga, and the closest to the meeting location. A trip from the airport to the Riga city center is approximately 18 miles (10.9 km) and takes between 25-35 minutes. You can get to the city center from the airport by the public bus No. 22, taxi or ride share, or rental car.
Taxi Service
Taxis from Riga International Airport (RIX) to the city center take 15–25 minutes, with costs generally ranging from €10–25. The most reliable options are using the Bolt app (often cheaper, approx. €11) or official airport taxis like Red Cab, available 24/7 outside the arrivals terminal.
Public Bus Service
Bus number 22 is the primary, direct public transport connecting Riga Airport (RIX) to the city center, operating regularly for €1.81–2.00 per ride. Tickets are available via mobile apps, kiosks, or directly from the driver using a bank card. The journey takes roughly 25-30 minutes, with extra early/late service available.
Rental Cars
