6th Bluegrass Molecular Biophysics Symposium

The aims of this one-day event are to bring together researchers from the Bluegrass region and surrounding states to learn about molecular biophysics, and to promote the discipline within the region. 

There will be four plenary talks, four short talks given by postdocs and graduate students (selected from submitted abstracts) and a poster session. 

The overall goal of these symposia is to build and strengthen the biophysics community in the region. Students and trainees of all levels are strongly encouraged to attend.

Registration and Abstract Submission:

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, this one day event is free of charge. However, we are limited to 100 attendees by both space and funding.

Poster abstract submission:

A two hour poster session, concurrent with lunch, is planned for the symposium. Poster abstracts should be no more than 200 words in length and submitted as a pdf. Please use the presenting author's last name as the file name.

Format should be as follows:

• Title
• Authors (with presenting author underlined)
• Institutional affiliation(s)
• Abstract

Poster boards are 60" wide and 40" tall. However, not all of this space is usable. The suggested maximum poster size is 48" wide and 36" tall. Please do not make a poster that exceeds the dimensions of the poster boards.

Posters should be put up during the registration hour (8:30-9:30am) and taken down at the conclusion of the Symposium.

Registration must be completed by 5pm EDT, Monday May 1, 2017.
