Biomedical and biophysical research are emerging fields at academic institutions in Costa Rica. The aim of this event is to promot networking and collaboration opportunities between investigators in Costa Rica, Costa Rican nationals performing research abroad, and any investigator interested in the field of biophysics.
The format of the event will be a half-day Symposium of 25-minute talks followed by 5 minutes of Q&A. We anticipate a total of 8 speakers, 4 will be performing research in Costa Rica and 4 abroad. The event will begin with a lunch along with an overview of the event organization, the relevance of biomedical and biophysical research, and acknowledgement of the sponsors. Speaker presentations will follow. The event will end with a networking reception.
