Membrane Protein Folding

The Biophysical Society and the Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) co-sponsored this meeting on membrane protein folding. The meeting focused on fundamental aspects of how membrane proteins fold ranging from physical chemistry (in vitro and in silico) to aspects of folding in the cell. In addition, the meeting featured practical implications of protein folding such as protein design, stabilization, and misfolding in disease.
