Be an Affiliate Event Organizer
Help get the word out about what biophysics is and its significant scientific contributions by hosting an event during Biophysics Week. Take this opportunity to celebrate the work of biophysicists around the globe! This is a unique opportunity to give your institution and your field significantly greater visibility.
You do not need to be a member of the Biophysical Society to be a part of Biophysics Week. We are pleased and excited to welcome the participation of all individuals and organizations who are enthusiastic about the field of Biophysics.
Ideas for Hosting a Virtual or In-Person Event
Not sure what you could do? Here are some ideas to consider:
- Host a Guest Lecturer
- Plan a local meet-up of biophysicists
- Schedule a seminar or poster session showcasing student research in biophysics
- Teach a lesson on biophysics to a local high school class
- Conduct a lab tour to show off your school’s major facilities
- If you have a related event already planned in March 2024, please consider making it a part of the Biophysics Week instead.
