It is that time of the year again! I am adding final touches to my poster, rushing to print it off, and creating my itinerary for the BPS meeting. It really feels like last week that we were all in Baltimore for the 59th annual meeting.
Last year was my first time at the BPS. For all the first-timers out there, this meeting might be bigger than you think! I was overwhelmed for the first couple of days! That is partly because at that point I was still not aware of all the wonderful features the BPS website has. Say, for example, the ability to create and print your itinerary. I have done that already for this year! The BPS360 app is also extremely useful.
The next challenge, however, is to decide which sessions to attend. There are just so many!!! And each one as exciting as any of the others. The BPS website allows you to search for sessions by speaker and/or keywords. That's a huge help and it feels great, until you find out (from the OASIS itinerary planner) that the itinerary you so meticulously created has clashes in them! I guess you just cannot have everything in life.
In any case, I am looking forward to an eventful 5 days at LA. It would be great to escape the midwest winter (although, I must say, this year has been relatively mild). The meeting coincides with the Oscars, so maybe we shall bump into some of the celebrities during our stay?
And last but not the least, I am looking forward to being a guest blogger at the BPS meeting. I shall be posting during the next few days, hopefully you shall enjoy them.
Before I sign off, wishing everyone a great time at the BPS!
