As co-chairs of the 2020 Biophysical Society Program Committee, we are delighted to invite you to participate in the 64th Annual Meeting of the Biophysical Society, which will be held at the San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, California, February 15 – 19, 2020.
This year’s program will highlight the many roles biophysics plays as a cornerstone of biology, physics, and chemistry, as well as its significance in linking basic scientific research with translational applications. Accordingly, the 2020 Symposia and Workshops span the full spectrum of Biophysics, seamlessly integrating in vitro, cellular, in vivo, computational, and theoretical biophysics. We have invited a diverse group of leading scientists from around the world to present their latest work on a wide range of topics from fundamental physical behavior of biomolecules to applications in human health and disease.
As you know, the vibrant platform and poster sessions at the Annual Meeting provide substantial opportunities for attendees to present and discuss their research. Importantly, these sessions allow trainees and early career scientists to highlight their work. Moreover, we have a comprehensive schedule of programs for professional development and education.
2020 is a perfect time to be a biophysicist — we look forward to seeing you in sunny San Diego!
Sincerely,
Patricia Clark and Bill Kobertz
