The Biophysical Society's Annual Art of Science Image Contest took place again this year, during the 64th Annual Meeting in San Diego. The first place winning image was submitted by Fiona Naughton, a postdoc in Oliver Beckstein's lab at Arizona State University. Naughton took some time to provide information about the image and the science it represents.

The second place winning image was submitted by Tejeshwar Rao, a postdoc working with Alexa Mattheyses at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Rao took some time to provide information about the image and the science it represents.

Our group has been busy at BPS2020!

Having no background in Cryo-EM and after witnessing such widespread use of the technique at BPS2020 I thought of doing some research and write about it for people like myself.
